Nilfisk was founded in 1906 by the Danish engineer P.A. Fisker. Today the company is a world-leading global provider of professional cleaning equipment and services. More than 90% of sales are to professionals while the remaining part of the business aimed at consumers covers floorcare equipment, vacuum cleaners, and high-pressure washers. Nilfisk’s products and services are sold in more than 100 countries and produced at 8 manufacturing sites across the globe. The main production facilities are in the US, Mexico, Hungary, Italy, and China. A total of approximately 4,800 employees secured revenue of 1,027.9 mEUR in 2024. The largest single market is the USA covering 28% of revenue in 2024, followed by Germany (14%), France (10%), Denmark (7%), and the UK (4%).

    Giving back to the community, one bag at a time 💚🥔 Our team from Brooklyn Park joined forces with Second Harvest Heartland in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis & St. Paul) to help fight food insecurity, a reality faced by 1 in 5 families in our community. Alongside local volunteers, we packaged 241 bags of potatoes, totalling 9,789 pounds of food. That’s approximately 8,158 meals going directly to food shelves across Minnesota and Wisconsin. In a world that’s constantly changing and increasingly uncertain, it’s empowering to know we can still come together and make a real difference. A huge thank you to everyone who showed up with energy and purpose. Let’s keep doing good and creating a better future together. 💪

    📈 We are ramping up our climate ambition by committing to Net-Zero by 2040 💚 Why❔ Despite market turbulence, it is still critical to keep reducing our impact on the climate, and we know that strong climate action can give us a competitive edge. "Emissions reduction is a value driver for our customers. Verified emissions data and reductions are essential for achieving their climate goals and, furthermore, our low-emission products reduce their total cost of ownership," says Malene Thiele, VP, Nilfisk Global ESG & Sustainability. What❔As of April 2025, Nilfisk has committed to achieving Net-Zero emissions by 2040 and updated our 2030 emission reduction target for Scope 1, 2, and 3. How ❔ Scope 1 and 2 emissions reductions (emissions related to our production) will be achieved through: • Electrification of the global vehicle fleet • Decarbonization of manufacturing sites through sourcing of renewable electricity and continued energy efficiency improvements. • Moving to more energy-efficient buildings Scope 3 emissions (emissions related to the use-phase of our products and materials purchased) will be achieved by: • Increasing product energy efficiency • Ensuring product compatibility with alternative energy sources • Utilizing low-carbon and recycled materials Click on the link in comments to read more ⬇️
